Eating at Idelic is always a very pleasant experience! The food is amazing, the staff are super friendly and helpful (this seems to be a rarity in Canberra!), and the coffee is the best I have had in a long time. Also, they always have a beautiful display of fresh sandwiches and salads in the front fridge. I’m quite picky with breakfast cafes, but I would definitely recommend this one!

Went reviewing local cafes online and found “idelic” near our hotel. The online reviews were absolutely correct. Great friendly and very attentive service from the wait staff. Excellent food and variety and was delivered timely and as we ordered it. Coming from Melbourne with great brekky/brunch joints to choose from this is worth a visit if you are nearby. Cannot stay away from this unexpected gem in Canberra. Brilliant breakfasts. Perfect scrambled eggs, wilted spinach that doesn’t weep water all over the plate, baked beans that prove simple food can be great. And great French Toast.
